£1.25m secured for failure to treat ischemia resulting in loss of limb

This case was a complex matter involving two Defendants which were responsible for the medical treatment of our client over the period of delay. Our Client required a below the knee amputation due to a blood clot which was not diagnosed or treated in timely manner. We commissioned Vascular, Orthopaedic, Nursing care and Accountancy experts to fully establish the loss suffered by our client. The case was listed for a two-week trial hearing however pre-trial settlement negotiations took place which resulted in a significant settlement award which appropriately compensated our client for the life changing injuries he suffered.
