Hilary has worked in the firm of Brendan Kearney & Co for over 20 years where she acquired detailed knowledge and experience of the procedural operations of the law in an extremely busy and successful law firm. After her family had finished their educations and set out on their own career paths, Hilary decided to qualify as a solicitor and returned to her education graduating with a law degree from University of Ulster followed by a Certificate of Professional Legal Studies from Queens University. She returned to work as a Solicitor with Brendan Kearney & Co. in 2011 where she practices in a wide area of law ranging from residential conveyancing, wills, administration of estates, Enduring Powers of Attorney and Controllerships to private tenancies and commercial leases.
Brendan Kearney & Co has a very busy and successful conveyancing practice achieved through a lifetime of reliability and trust and Hilary has continued in this mode exercising careful attention to detail in every property transaction from the sale and purchase of residential property to the voluntary transfer of the family home. Hilary understands that purchasing a property is one of the biggest financial commitments that most people will make in their lifetime and will assist and explain the conveyancing procedure with the aim of completing the property transaction with as little stress as possible.
Hilary is particularly interested in providing advice and services to senior citizens in the area of Wills and Enduring Powers of Attorney recognising the importance of careful listening and understanding to ensure each client’s wishes and intentions are achieved.
Working in such a busy law firm, Hilary has acquired considerable experience in the administration of estates and provides a professional and efficient service in a caring and sympathetic manner.
