James joined the practice as Partner in January 2025 having specialised in personal injury litigation arising from road traffic accidents, employers’ liability and public liability claims in the Northern Ireland Courts for over a decade.
Returning home having studied law in Newcastle, James commenced an apprenticeship in 2012 and has gone on to deal with a range of personal injury actions from modest soft tissue injuries through to fatal accidents and catastrophic personal injury claims involving clients who have suffered permanent disability resulting in an inability to work and an extensive financial loss claim. James also has experience in the dealing with policy indemnity issues, credit hire litigation and industrial disease.
James prides himself on his personable approach and enjoys building up a good rapport with clients. He understands the worry and stress clients may experience and is always available to assist with any query, be it big or small.
Outside of work James is kept busy with his young family. When he gets some free time, you can find him on the golf course.
